Jackfish Lodge

The new Jackfish District Camp, for Devon Canada Corporation is being designed as a destination home away from home. Devon Canada Corporation has insisted that this state of the art 900 man camp is designed with an appropriate human scale, extensive glazing and connection to the outdoors and all the amenities of home and more.

At more than 54,000 ft2, the new facility is the core that links the residential wings. In this case, the desire to reduce the travel down hallways, the dorm wings a uniquely connected directly to the core. State of the art kitchen and dining facilities, a theatre, TV rooms, full size gymnasium, squash courts, hockey rinks and a variety of other leisure activities are included to make the residents feel at home and appreciated.
