Century Downs Racetrack & Casino

BR2 Architecture was retained in October of 2013 by Century Casino to assist with the design and construction of the new Century Downs Racetrack & Casino.

As this is a design-build project, BR2 Architecture and the entire consultant team are working together with Chandos Construction on the design and construction of this new facility.

Located north of the City of Calgary on a site adjacent to the Cross Iron Mills Retail Development, the new Century Downs Racetrack & Casino consists of a casino and a horse racing facility.

BR2, the design consultants and Chandos Construction were retained to design and construct the casino facility only. Future phases may include an expansion to the facility and a hotel.

The casino and racetrack support facilities are designed to accommodate 650 slot machines (550 at opening), off track betting, a food and beverage area, administration, future second floor development and provision for future third floor development.
